Merchandising stock to a high visual standard that cultivates a premium fashion shopping experience for the customer, whilst maintaining a commercial focus to drive sales and meet targets.

Regular online research into the new season styles and monitoring social media to establish which items are popular and what is trending. Subsequently adjusting store layout and merchandising to play up key items whilst also driving struggling departments.

Being active on Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook ensures our staff pages are kept up to date and in line with company standards as well as linking us to relevant sites and creating an online community for company staff.

Playing an active role in area meetings and vm workshops across the North West demonstrates confidence, initiative and networking abilities as well as discovering new ways of marketing our products and boosting sales within store.

Creativity is essential when installing and styling new window schemes. I also develop work booklets for sales assistants with descriptive guides to the trends, which is an opportunity to use my writing skills alongside my creative merchandising.

Commercial business mindset demonstrated by daily analysis of sales reports and data to identify strengths and weaknesses and look for opportunities to promote sales and brand awareness wherever possible.

Ted Baker Supervisor 2013 As Supervisor it was my responsibility to manage sales assistants and provide excellent

customer service. Holding product training meetings for the rest of the team and creating incentives to maximise

sales. Managing deliveries and transfers, ensuring product is correct and that stock counts are

accurate Competently managed figure books and analysed sales information each week to track

bestsellers and weak areas and used my knowledge of key performance indicators to help boost sales.

Pandora Sales Assistant 2012-2013 Providing excellent customer service in a busy luxury retail environment, whilst working

towards daily and weekly sales targets

Personal InformationIn recent years I have taken part in several charity events such as the Race for Life for breast cancer and a hike up Ben Nevis for the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation. I get a real sense of achievement when raising money for a good cause and improving my own focus and level of determination at the same time. I am passionate about poetry and creative writing and have recently joined a creative writing class to challenge my perspectives and push myself to write more freely and develop my narrative craft.
