A bit about me:

As a child from the age of 5 I was a music prodigy, leading me to in the pursuing years to gain the highest level of graduation from the London School of Music and to travel both NZ and around the world in youth orchestras

I have 17 years experience working in marketing and advertising, specialising in branding and creative development.

The last ten years of my career were spent in Hawaii, USA where my husband and I raised a young family and also ran our construction business.

We also enjoy a bit of travel, taking our family around Europe and Australasia. In my own time I’ve also enjoyed designing and publishing a children’s travel book.

Recently we have migrated back to New Zealand to be closer to our family and am looking forward to continuity to grow my career and enjoy the rewards of working alongside a team to develop great work that delivers results.

I am a volunteer with the United Nations Volunteer Organisation. They will call upon me for specific tasks from time to time. -

I am interested in both Human Rights, Civil Liberties and providing actionable resources to those nations that require the help to become both Economically, socially and politically viable. Bringing them into the fold of acceptable social global reforms and national conduct which is acceptable to the Global governing/ monitoring bodies.

Returned to Freelance consultancy on a project by project basis.

2008 to 2012

Senior Account Director, Hafner Creative, Hawaii

Servicing key clients, developing marketing, brand and media strategic solutions. My role also included new business development and freelance creative management.

Some key wins included, leading the pitch process and successful wins of major agency accounts including:

Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union, North Hawaii Community Hospital, Keck Observatories, Bluesky Coffee, Maryl Development and Realty. USMil- White Communications for deployment in country. - end.

I also really enjoyed the development and launch of the new brand platform which included the development of the new e-commerce website for HCFCU, this included strategic development, brand management, working closely with key client, agency and technical stakeholders.

Leading the pitch to win the full through-the-line account for North Hawaii Community Hospital was a fun challenge. Shortly after the win we delivered the successful ‘Health Awareness’ campaign, which included a multi-channel media and PR mix.

2004 to 2008

Consultant for local Advertising and Media companies responsible for projects from sales pitch to the concept development, implementation and launch.

Exploration into overseas radio broadcast aimed at an 'American' audience with an 'open' radio-band so citizens of 'other' countries can tune in, I was a part of the team to supervise certain/critical content on a strategic basis. - end.
