Heavy rains on already saturated ground have affected a number of areas in the last month.The County of Roscommon has been flooded again so the situation remains critical after 4months of disastrous weather conditions. The civil defence teams are continuing to assistresidents and local communities to battle against flood waters because of rivers flooding.The thematic layer has been derived from post-event satellite image using a semi-automaticapproach. The estimated geometric accuracy is 10 m CE90 or better, from native positionalaccuracy of the background satellite image.
