Note: all measurements include ¼" seam allowances. Don’tforgetthecupparule,sitdownwithacuppaandreadthepatternfromstarttofinishbeforeyoucommence! For this easy to piece pattern, refer regularly to the diagram and image provided. requirements Two contrasting Fat ¼’s 17 ½" square of paper backed adhesive. (Eg. Steam a Seam) You will also need an approximately 3" diameter glass for construction!

Method1. From two different fabrics cut 17 ½" squares

2. Apply the paper backed adhesive to the wrong side of one fabric square with a hot iron.

3. Peel away the paper and place the two fabric squares wrong sides together.

4. Adhere together with a hot iron.

5. Mark the centre on one side. Figure a.

6. Place the prepared two sided square on the ironing board.

7. Fold all four corners into the centre and press well. Figure b.

8. Fold all four corners into the centre again and press well. Figure c.

9. Flip the piece over and fold all four corners into the centre again, hold all four points down in the centre with the glass. Figure D & e.

10. Carefully lift up one corner of the folded fabric and pull up a petal from underneath as shown, keeping the glass in place to hold down the centre corners. Figure F.

11. Repeat for the other three petals. Figure G.

12. Then lift up the flower on one side, and pull up the first of the second set of petals underneath, Figure H repeat for the other three sides.

13. Carefully remove the glass.
