It promotes the participation of diverse businesses within our supply chain as both prime suppliers and our subcontractors.
What is a Diverse Supplier?
A diverse business is a for-profit enterprise, regardless of size, physically located in the United States or its trust territories, which is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a US Citizen(s) that is an ethnic minority, woman, veteran, LGBT or disabled.
(i.e., MBE, WBE, DVBE, VBE, LGBTE, etc.)
Tier I Diverse Supplier (Prime): A diverse business contracting directly with an organization (NBCU). Tier II Diverse Supplier (Subcontractor): A diverse business contracting directly with an organization’s (NBCU) Tier I supplier.
