• 158 member renewals thus far• 4 Reinstatements• 9 New members• 1 Associate• For past members that have not joined LAGA by 29 January 2016, their GHIN

accounts will be deactivated due to SCAGA billing periods that resume on 15 February 2016.

c) Duffer Report: Tom MichelDeadline: 25 January 2016Will most likely get the Duffer out to email membership by the weekend. Wally wants to mail out about 40-50 copies for those who don't have an electronic means to get the Duffer at this time.

d) Webpage Report: Randy McClelland (not present at meeting)LAGA has a really nice website and we need to see about appointing a backup webmaster to learn what is needed to keep website up-to-date, also Randy implemented a new web software and someone needs to learn its idiosyncrasies sothat we don't have any website 'down' time.

e) Wednesday Chairman: Paul Bernier• 3 Feb will be first tournament to start 9A shotgun • 27 Jan (8-10A) will be the first tournament signup • 109 renewals for those members who have played before • 22 WAVE-2 people thus far• 6 New LAGA WED members • Wednesday committee: Review on how scores are posted (everyday scores

versus just tournament scores)

f) Golf Advisory Board: Gerry Quinlan• There was no December meeting• Next meeting: 3P on 21 Jan 2016 at Los Altos • Gerry Quinlan was our GAB representative for 3 years (Thank you so much!)• Replacement concessionaire (food/pro shop/banquet/etc) for Ladera was

suggested by the GAB, but the City has not implemented the contract as of today; looks like there may have been a protest, but not sure. The Zimmerly's received a 3-month extension for operating Ladera as is.

• Must have a quorum of 5 for it to be an official meeting • Have we ever gotten a city accounting report for golf funds? It has been years

and still nothing from city • Paul Bernier will be putting in his membership form for GAB, Gerry will assist

with getting that done as Los Altos wants to have a member for each meeting to promote our concerns and good golf for Albuquerque.

g) Tournament Report: Gary Schuster

• See attached proposed 2016 Tournament schedule.• Need dates for top dressing to see if any tournaments would be affected • Gerry asked that a date be attached to the schedule so that it is easier to know

what version we are looking at .• Motion to accept the current proposed tournament schedule for 2016.

Jon Welch: Employees - Paid employee with W2 gets membership benefits, but not necessarily; most don't participate in weekly/tournament events. Mostly seems to be "Thank You's" to those behind the counter. Need a list of those who actually receive a paycheck from Chris Moya or from the City. Motion: Define a Member-Employee as one who gets a W2 from the Los Altos Golf Course or the City of Albuquerque. Motion: Jon Welch 2nd: Jeanie Stensland Approved

Rick Stensland: Youth golf Punch card for lessons on the driving range, round of golf with advisor on Executive course,chipping/putting, 2 days on rules and etiquette. Once punch card is complete, this allows the youths to play the EXEC course for summer for $5/each time . Needs some assistance on getting graphics on a thumb drive so that City can print up the cards and get the advertising out to the schools

Gerry Quinlan: 2016-2020 USGA Rule Books Ordered 350 but have not received them yet; Gerry will check with SCAGA and see if perhaps they have not been shipped from Rio Rancho, therefore he could just pick them up and not have to pay RR-ABQ shipping charges. {Note: Gerry picked them up from SCAGA on 22 Jan 2016}

VI. Old BusinessMike Davidson – looking for two awards plaques for LAGA Most Improved & Player of the Year information. They were set aside during the Christmas party, but Mike has been unable to find them since then. Please be on the lookout for them please. They've not been updated with the 2015 winner information, so that still needs to be done once found.
