ADDICTION RECOVERY and SUPPORT GROUPS: Addiction Recovery Program: Thursday evening 7:30pm at the Loomis Church, Room 35. Group Leaders are Jeff & Jeannie Boberg (916-205-9018).Pornography Addiction Support Group: For adult males. Held Sundays at 7pm at the Loomis Church, Room 35. Group Leader is Kevin Anderson (916-878-6225).Women’s Support Group: For those finding themselves affected or overcome by addictions of their loved ones. SACRAMENT MEETING REVERENCE: We have been asked to arrive 5-10 minutes early for Sacrament Meeting, so we can reverently sit and listen to the prelude music and prepare for our worship and partaking of the sacrament.

STAKE CONFERENCE “11-YEAR-OLD” CHOIR: In preparation for Stake Conference on Aug. 11, we invite all youth who turn 12 in 2019 to participate in this special choir. Rehearsal tonight, August 4 from 7:00-8:00pm at the Stake Center. There will also be a practice on August 11th from 8:00-9:00am right before the Sunday session on Aug. 11. Questions? STAKE CONFERENCE: We invite you to come and gather with the good people of our Stake and neighborhoods to participate in our Stake Conference scheduled for next weekend, August 10-11. The Saturday evening session begins 7:00pm at the Stake Center located at 1155 Liberty Lane in Lincoln. The Sunday morning session begins 10:00am. Note that no regular wardmeetings or Stake temple recommend interviews will be held on Sunday, August 11.

PATHWAY FIRESIDE where you can come and learn more about this exciting Church program that provides a very low cost way to obtain a college degree online. Mark your calendar for Sunday, August 18, 7:00pm at the Rocklin Stake Center, 2610 Sierra Meadows Drive. Your questions will be answered,followed by refreshments. SACRAMENTO TEMPLE SUMMER OPEN BAPTISTRY: The baptistry in the Sacramento Temple will be open for youth and families, either individuals or small groups up to eight, without an appointment through the end of July. During the morning hours from 8am to noon on Tuesdays through Fridays, volunteers will be present to facilitate increased attendance. Youth and families may come as often as possible during this season. The baptistry will also be open in the afternoons. Evening and Saturday baptism sessions for groups may be sched-uled with the temple by calling 916-357-5870.

WARD CHOIR PRACTICE: Ward Choir Practice is Sundays, 2:05pm - 2:45pm in the Chapel. Contact Sister Anikai Medlar with any questions.

RELIEF SOCIETY HUMANITARIAN: Our ward has been assigned to donate ball-point pens and pink erasers for the school kits this year. Please give your donations to Sis. Valerie Gingrich. Loomis Food Pantry donations needed: Dry milk (1 qt. pouches), jam/jelly, 20-oz veg. oil, cake/dessert mixes, canned or boxed dinners, pancake mixes and syrup. (please check expiration dates – nothing within a month of expiration can be accepted). Donations may be put in the RS basket on Sunday, or in the black tub on Wanda Gilbert’s porch during the week.
