Blessed - Inspired – Gifted THRIVING DURING TROUBLING TIMES!
"Build houses and live in them; plant gardens and eat what they produce. Take wives and have sons and daughters; take wives for your sons, and give your daughters in marriage, that they may bear sons and daughters; multiply there and do not decrease. But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare." Jeremiah 29:5-7 (NRSV) TROUBLE! TROUBLE! TROUBLING TIMES! Unionite, how are you doing amiss these troubling times? Pastor is praying for your physical, mental and spiritual health. Guard your mind and keep seeking the Lord. This passage of scripture is so encouraging. The chosen people of God find themselves in the enemy’s hand. Fallen away to false gods and rejecting the prophetic plea to repent and turn back to God has landed them exiled in a foreign land. God has deemed 70 years of troubling time. Can you believe, Unionite, that even in troubling time, God is affording the opportunity for the people to thrive? To build up where they are. To be fruitful and multiply even in a strange land. The people of God can prosper even in troubling times! Praying being the bridge to a fruitful land. The people of God are to pray for the wellbeing of those who God is allowing to enslave them. This reminds us of the New Testament scripture to, ‘Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.’ Luke 6:28. Walk in the Light and prosper along this troubling time and soon we will shout together a post-pandemic praise! THINK BIG with 2020 vision! Vision Statement: People spiritually growing; positively, impacting Faith, Family, Community and World! Thank you, Jesus, for The Vision and You!
