Look What’s Coming to JFS!Spontania Mania

The JFS PTA is proud to host the first annual Evergreen District Spontania Mania competition onSaturday, December 14th from 9-11:30 AM in the MPR. Fifteen Odyssey Of The Mind teams from withinthe Evergreen School District will be participating at the event. The teams will get an opportunity to solveunique problems in a creative way. Girls On The Run

Program registration opens on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at www.gotrsv.org! Join this exciting programopen to girls in 3rd-6th grade. Students will participate in activities that teach healthy habits and life skillsto empower girls to become strong women. Space is limited and registration is on a first come first servebasis. Multicultural Night

Exciting plans are under way to bring back Multicultural Night in March 2014. If you have any suggestionson how we can celebrate the diverse culture at JFS please contact Usha Kalahasti or Pari Pham. Help usmake Multicultural Night an event to remember by volunteering your time to help plan: multiculturalinformation booths, world foods, cultural dances, and much more.

Honk Jr.

The Honk Jr production was a great success! For the first time, grades 1-6 had anopportunity to enjoy the musical during the school day. Over 300 tickets were soldbetween the two evening shows where parents, friends, and family came out to seethe talented cast perform! A big Thank You to all the parent volunteers who madethis production possible!
