Each Philipp Si-dler scarf starts with original

hand-drawn illustra-tions, usually in pen and ink. Like true piec-es of art, they are then converted into digital files to be colored, re-peated, mirror imaged, collaged and com-bined to create the fi-nal layered print. The steps to creating dig-itally printed scarves are long and compli-cated, but the end re-sult mesmerizes ev-ery woman with great fashion flair. However, the brand will not limit itself to scarves, as it is

ECO-FRIENDLY FABRICS

Another important aspect of the brand’s phi-

losophy is the responsibility towards environ-

ment. As a consequence, Philipp Sidler scarves

are mainly made of Modal and Cashmere – fab-

rics that meet the brand’s highly ethical and

eco-friendly standards.

Modal is a processed bio-based textile made

from reconstituted cellulose from beech trees. It

drapes beautifully, it is soft as a feather, and is a

delight to wear on the skin. Since its smoothness

makes hard water deposits less likely to adhere

to the surface, it will stay soft through repeated

Cashmere is a fiber obtained from Cashmere

goats and other types of goat wool. Collected

during spring moulting season when goats nat-

urally shed their winter coat, this is the warmest,

lightest and most luxurious fabric ever. Nothing
