We will walk down the hillside to St Columb’s Well.

After the Supper, Jesus walked down the hill into the Kedron Valley - and we will walk down the hill down to St Columb’s Well - our walk is a walk through history - there are reminders of our history on every side - we will walk along paths where the old streets have gone - Howard Street and St Columb’s Wells- 50 years ago, hundreds of people lived in those streets - brought up families there - and now the streets have gone - the streets may have gone, walls may have been built but our faith lives on.

my sins have caused you pain.When they crucified you on the cross,

my sins have caused you pain.The Cross on the wall,

I now know what to say.Jesus I am sorry. Jesus I love you.

The cross on the wall,I go there every day.

And then we come to the Well as generations and generations of Derry people have done before us and we will pray there and bless the Well and meet old friends as Jesus did at that other well centuries ago.

And that is always a happy occasion. Because faith eventually triumphs over everything else.
