classroom ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS FROM THE TEACHER! Students using electronics contrary to teacher direction, without teacher permission, or to distract others will have their devices confiscated.
2. If electronics are being used outside of the classroom, they will be confiscated.

Assembly Behavior
We will leave the class in a quiet and orderly fashion.
Walk on the right side, be respectful of everyone.When we reach the gym, sit with our class in
assigned seats. Do not mingle with other classes!Be attentive and respectful of assembly

speakers ask for it! When appropriate, give the loudest cheer!

appropriate class times (not when the teacher is in the middle of talking).

clothing in the Band storage room before 7:25 AM.
2. Drop off instrument in a timely manner and go straight back outside.
3. No students will be allowed in the Locker Room before school.
4. Enter and Exit through Longhorn Alley doors (6th grade line-up area).
5. Only handle your own personal items.

counselor’s pass from a staff member to come to the office/nurse/counselor.
2. If going to counselor, knock quietly on the door and wait patiently to be answered.
3. At front office or nurse, wait quietly and patiently until somebody can assist you.
4. When you have finished, return directly to class.

Expected Behaviors:1. Walk to lunch, and walk while you’re in the
corral. 2. Stand in a single file line to get your lunch.3. If you do not have your ID card, you wait on
the brick wall by the gym until the rest of the students go through the line.
4. Talk using an inside voice while you’re in the corral.
5. After you finish eating, go outside.6. Pick up trash and leave your area clean
when you leave.
Fire DrillFire DrillGoals: To make the fire drill process efficient, safe and orderly To prepare students for proper behavior in case of a real emergencyReasons: Decrease amount of exit time and reach the designated spot safely Decrease confusion and panic
Expected Behaviors:1. When alarm sounds, all students immediately stop everything
and get in a single file line with no talking. 2. All students will exit through the designated exit in a single file
line. (Teacher is responsible for grabbing Crisis Manual) 3. With no talking, the students will go with the teacher to the
designated outside area for each advisory class. 4. With no talking, all students will stand in their line until given a
signal to return to the building5. When the signal to return is given, the students will walk
quietly back to their advisory classroom (no matter what period the drill was in)
6. Once in the classroom, the students will sit quietly in their seats until the drill is declared over by the teacher or principal. They will then go back to the regular period class.
LockdownLockdownGoals: To make the lockdown process efficient, safe and orderly To prepare students for proper behavior in case of a real emergencyReasons: Decrease amount of movement and reach the designated spot safely Decrease confusion and panic
Expected Behaviors:1. When announcement is heard over the loudspeaker, all students
immediately stop everything and look at their teacher.2. All students will follow directions given to them by the adult
present. 3. Teachers will ensure that lights are turned off, windows are
shut, and doors are locked. 4. With no talking, the students will listen to the teacher and move
to the designated area for each class. 5. When the signal that all is well is given, the students will move
quietly back to their appropriate location. 6. Once in the classroom, the students will sit quietly in their seats
until the drill is declared over by the teacher or principal.
1. Don’t enter the lab unless an adult is present.2. All food and drinks should be consumed prior to entering the lab. 3. Backgrounds and settings on the computers are set and should not be
changed. 4. Please avoid touching the monitor screens as they can be damaged
easily. 5. Ask permission to print and push print only once.6. Headphones should be left plugged into the back of computer.7. Place headphones on towers before leaving. 8. Keyboards should be left at the edge of the table and mouse beside it.9. Push chairs in before leaving.10. Playing games on the computer is left up to the discretion of your teacher
and should be of an educational value. (NO VIOLENCE – BLOOD – GUNS ETC.)
