TEXAS LONE STAR AMBASSADORS OF MUSIC LONDON 2018

Let the Adventure Begin!!!After surviving a 9 hour flight over the “pond” (the Atlantic Ocean), we begin our European adventure. Our first stop is the beautiful village of Windsor, home of Windsor Castle! Students get the opportunity to explore the village, take a tour of Windsor Castle and eat their first authentic Fish and Chips. Because our group travelled in multiple flights, Windsor is where we bring our group back together. After exploring the village, we drive to our hotel, check in, have dinner and get ready for the London Night Walk, where we will cross the Millennium Bridge and see Shakespeare’s famous Globe Theatre. Following the walk, it’s bedtime. No jet lag here!

Performance Day!Day Three of our trip begins with breakfast and a trip to Wesley Chapel, one of London’s most cherished historictreasures. Here we will give a chamber ensembles concert in the sanctuary and meet our City Coordinators.

Next, we travel down the Victoria Embarkment, along the Thames River to Embarkment Gardens, site of our first full band performance. Lunch in the park makes for an unforgettable experience!

Following the performance, we will participate in our pre-chosen small group activities. You can choose from visiting the Westminster Abbey, shopping at Piccadilly Circus, taking a Haunted Walking Tour ofLondon, exploring the British Museum, or catching your favorite musical - London style!

Final Day in London… Day Four is our last day in London, so we get to spend the day seeing AS MUCH AS humanly possible! Following breakfast, you will board your coach (european for bus) for a driving tour of London. See the rich European history that the City of London has to offer. Buckingham Palace, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, Parliament, Big Ben and the Royal Albert Hall, to name a few.

After lunch, we get to spend the afternoon exploring the Tower of London, viewing the Crown Jewels and learning about the facts and legends surrounding this famous strong-hold.

The evening concludes with a ride on the London Eye, dinner at a local restaurant and more exploration…At the end of the day, we pack our bags. Day 5 is a travel day that ends in PARIS, FRANCE!!
