How to play ?
Along with the events to find the best team from each country and the best all round competitors. Gymnastic competitors battle for the gold on individual levels. Scores are given by a panel of judges into account of how difficult, quality, strength, flexibility , and balance. Each of these are key.
The History of Artistic Gymnastics• The term Artistic Gymnastics was first used in the 19 th
Century. Between when it appeared at the Athens games in 1896 and the 1920s. In the event that we know as Modern Gymnastics. The mens individual apparatus and Team competitions first appearance was at the Paris Games in 1924.A womens Team completion was first introduced in 1928, with women's individual apparatus event added in 1952.
• Apparatus- sport equipment used in gymnastics exercise.
Words to know• All-around- competitions that feature a variety of
different elements 6 for men & 4 for women.• Balance Beam- a single beam, 5ft long & 10cm
wide, used exclusively in women's competitions. • Podium- the raised competition area.• Rings- two rings, each with an internal diameter
of 18cm, are suspended 280cm from the floor. Rings are used exclusively in men’s competitions.
• Vault- the vault is 120cm long and 95cm wide , and is set at a height of 135cm (for Men)or 25cm (for women.)
