The small hill station is at a height of 625 metres above sea level in the western region of Maharashtra. There is a lot to see and do in this pristine hill station. 2 Ekvira Devi Temple

The narrow, zig zag steps leadingup to the fort are estimated to be about 500in number. Enveloped in a rich historicalpast, the fort was said to be used byChatrapati Shivaji and other dynasties whichruled Maratha and Vidharbha kingdoms.The walk to the fort takes about 1.5 hours. 4 Rajmachi Fort

Rajmachi Fort is actually two citadels —Manranjan and Shreevardhan forts.Centuries earlier, these forts were built atRajmachi to guard the important traderoutes that linked the ports of Chaul andRevdanda to the Maratha hinterland.
