hosting, the Smiley Pancake Day Event. The event will be held in the Gweedore Bar on Tuesday 5th March at 11.00am - 12.30pm On the day you are invited to come along and decorate a SMILEY FACE on your pancake get a picture taken (or not!) have a cup of tea or coffee and a chat, but most of all we would like you to enjoy the morning. On the way out we would love you yo leave a donation in the bucket for the local mental health association. We would like any of you involved in other groups to invite them to join us on the day.

Má tá spéis ag gnó ar bith cuid dóibh a fháil (siopa, lóistín, teach tabhairne, oifig nó eile), ní gá ach glaoch a chur ar an Oifigeach Pleanála Teanga, Micheal Mac Aoidh ag 087 2270722 Cloughaneely Language Planning Forum: Well over 100 people attend the inaugral meeting of Cloughaneeely’s Language Planning Forum in Halla Naomh Fhionáin on February 26th last.The forum has being established to help the language planning committee in their efforts to implement the local Irish-language plan. Under the direction of the facilitator, Páraic Mac Donncha, the forum made a number of key decisions as regards the direction the language planning process and it is hoped to put implement the recommendations made at the meeting over the next year. The Language Planning Committee have developed badges and signs for local businesses to let customers know services in Irish are available or that an employee is willing to speak Irish. These signs and badges were designed especially for Cloughaneely and have a local flavour to them. If any businesses (shops, pubs, offices, etc.) are interested in using these signs, they can contact Micheal Mac Aoidh, the language planning officer at 087 2270722.
