Location Ideas

One of my main locations that I will be using is the green room which is located at wyke college I chose this as my location because I wanted a strip club type setting but don't have the facilities around me to facilitate for this. I decided to use the green room in its place purely because its convenient in terms of it being the building in which me and my chosen actress study but also due to the choice of lighting. The set is also blank making it accessible to add my own mise en scene like the black screen and money in order to make it look verisimilitude as possible.

My second location in which I am using is the wall located near my house on Kingswood the wall has graffiti on which conforms to the genre of rap instead of it being plain which isn't very typical of the genre I wanted to use the wall for the performance aspect of the song as the setting is simple and doesn't take too much distraction away from the hair, makeup and costume on my main actress in order for the audiences full attention to be onto her that's why I feel like half a graffiti wall would be more fitting than something covered in graffiti which could take away from the performance part itself

One of my only outdoor locations I wanted was a long road that is surrounded by nothing but landscape in order to create the effect of isolation and almost create the Hollywood on the run look similar to lady gaga and Beyonces telephone video i want an out in the open location to go in hand with all the indoor locations and to go with the shots where the actress is trying to run away from the police with the bag of money

Another location I plan on using is one of the bedrooms in my house I hope to achieve similar lighting to these two images I have placed at the top to create verisimilitude and to relate back to conventions as when you look at rap videos they have predominant blue lighting or red lighting tod do this I may need to hire out some lighting that has a blue or red LED . I also need a double bed to make everything feel on a larger scale and to accommodate for the landscape shots. It gives the actress more room.

My final location is the bath tub which i am going to use at my house. This is to ensure i follow all the shots that i have put into my shot list. I chose to do it in the bathroom in my house again due to convenience for myself and my actress. The tiling in my bathroom is black so therefore will re create my storyboard more clearer and make it look more professional . I also chose to use a bathroom scene as its conventional of the genre and creates a sultry raunchy vibe that the song already has
