Kingston memorial park

This is what the location looks like before entering it. It’s not quite busy and is put aside from the shopping centre, making this location easy to film at. It doesn’t have an shops disrupting the background apart from the big building at the back.

We can use the entrance to show the girls walking into the memorial. However we cannot use this particular memorial as it has a statue of one of the soldiers from the world war.

When you walk further in to the memorial park you get benches. We noticed that many people sit here and still cannot use the statue which means we focused to go further into the memorial park.

Many pigeons also surround that area and are fed by the people sitting there this will be a disruption to our filming.

This side of the memorial shows a lot some of the shops in the background, which may not be good for our production.

This picture is taken further back in the park. It seems really open spaced, which in the dark could prove to be quite spooky. The trees can also add to that spooky effect.

However we still do see many buildings in the background and we may also see people walking in and out of the park. This could be hidden however can be very time consuming.

The one tree in the middle of the park is isolated and can also create a mystery effect we could add in.

Further within the park, there is certain headstone’s on the edges of the park. This can be very useful as we could pretend that one belongs to the pied piper and take advantage of this opportunity.

They have moss on them and the engraved letters are worn away, which lets us take advantage of this. We can easily use one of them in our scene especially in the possession scene. This place within the park is pretty isolated from the front, but is still see able from distance making it safe to film in the dark.

Actors

We need to teenage girls about 16-17 to act in our opening scene.

We have chosen to use two friends of our that are studying drama as it will boost the quality of our openings scene with their acting.

They both go to Kingston College, which makes it easy for them to film at flexible times.
