Sponsoring a school APL intends to construct and

fully equip a school in a village along Right of Way (ROW).

Meetings have been held with a Non-Government Organization (NGO) in this regard.

Sites survey has been conducted for selecting an appropriate location for the school.

Few sites have been shortlisted and location is yet to be finalized.

Mobile Health Unit (MHU) Services

• MHU provides medical facility to residents of different villages along APL-ROW.

• Facilities include provision of free medicines and consultancy.

• 1,600 patients served per month (on average)

• In operation since March 2014.

Basic Health Unit Services• Located in a remote village – Soomar Goth• Provides treatment and medicines to approximately 630

patients per month, including those from surrounding villages• Female doctor & dispenser available• In operation since September 2006

• Eye camp in collaboration with Pakistan Eye Bank Society. • Donation of eye medicines and spectacles to Al-Ibrahim

Eye Hospital, Malir for distribution amongst villagers ◦ Free eye surgeries (100 surgeries till date)◦ Mobile camps for skin diseases

Medical camps• APL organized a free one day medical camp at Maulladad

Village in alliance with Children Health and Education Foundation (CHAEF) during February 2008.

• Treatment was provided to more than 500 patients suffering from fever, flu, pneumonia, skin diseases and diarrhoea.
