Lobster Festival!Saturday, May 20thFor 45 years, folks from Pound Ridge — and surrounding towns — of all faiths have feasted on lobster, shellfish, fresh corn and homemade pie, while doing good for our community at the same time. ! In years past, Festival proceeds have benefited local organizations such as the Pound Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, the Volunteer Ambulance Corps and many others. ! This year, the proceeds will help defray the costs associated with the on-going restoration and preservation of our historic buildings. ! All you have to do to help is enjoy a good meal. Order your 1-1/4 lb. lobsters —live or cooked — or a quart of littleneck clams or mussels. We’ll have fresh corn-on-the-cob and homemade pies for sale on pick-up day. ! You can pick up your order in the Church parking lot (located at the junction of Routes 137 and 172), on Saturday, May 20, between 12:00 and 5:00pm. (Please park next door at the Elementary School.) ! Order — by Thursday, May 18 — by phone, at 914-764-9000, by mail (fill out the order form on the reverse side and mail us your order), by e-mail at [email protected], or on-line poundridgecommunitychurch.org. ! Then, invite some friends over, and eat well, do good. !
