Approved by the leading metal building & roofing manufacturers.
Leading the industry by being the FIRST CURB
MANUFACTURER to offer a 20 year roof curb warranty.
*Barrel Vault Skylight with Ridge Mount Two Curb System
For R-Panel applications, we use the same design techniques
as curbs for standing seam roofs; whereas, the up slope/down
slope highs fit the same as our standing seam curb. Here again,
the curb base sides extend to the next natural seam and mates
to the roof panel by lapping over the rib, making the curb an
integral part of the roof system.
Much consideration is given to the type of roof sys-
tem on a new building or re-roof. Equal consideration
should be given to the roof penetrations and the type
of roof curbs used. LMCurbs has the capabilities to
design roof curbs for the most challenging standing
seam roof applications and can correctly match your
roof system. Critical to the function of the roof curb
is allowing the highs to fit under the roof panel on
the up slope and over the panel on the down slope to
create a continuous water flow. Unlike our competi-
tors, our curb base sides extend to the next natural
seam of the roof panel, allowing the cap strips to seal
the seam. This method of installation makes the curb
an integral part of the roof system.
Roof Curbs
The net results of
installing roof curbs
incorrectly and using curbs
constructed with inferior
materials can result in long-
lasting problems. Our curbs
are constructed from #3003
aluminum .080”/.125” stan-
dard. LMCurbs roof curbs
are designed to withstand
the most challenging instal-
lation applications.
LMCurbs has a wide range
of curb models for both
new and retrofit applica-
tions, from single-slope to
ridge mount, each with an
optional sub-frame package
that includes sub-frames,
back-up channels, screws,
caulk, and sealant tape. For
each roof curb order and/or
quote, AutoCAD drawings for
submittals are provided.

Downslope High1. - Downslope highs extend over the top of the panel ribs allowing water to escape off the curb without pool-ing near otherwise leak prone caulked seams.
.080 Aluminum2. - Our roof curbs are manufactured from #3003 aluminum .080”/.125” standard. Compared to galvalume, our curbs are designed to withstand the toughest weather condition that cause rusting and corrosion, which results in leaks. We offer stainless steel curbs per customer request.
12” Tall Curb (8" minimum height)3. - Water rushing down steep slopes can escape over lower profile curbs.
Continuous Welds4. - Continuous welds are an integral part of our curbs, adding even more protection against potential water leakage and material corrosion.
Insulated Side Walls5. - 1.5" 3# foil faced fiberglass insulated side walls helps eliminate condensation build up.
Up Slope High6. - Up slope highs fit under the panel rib creating a continuous path for water to flow off the roof panel, onto our curb, and off the other side with no obstructions. Combined with the downslope highs, both allow our curbs to become an integral part of the roof system.
Cricket7. - Our crickets divert water around the curb to prevent water pooling.
Panel Rib8. - Unlike our competitors, our curb base sides extend to the next natural seam of the roof panel, allowing the cap strips to seal the seam. This method of installation makes the curb an integral part of the roof system.

When a roof leaks, it usually is at
a roof penetration that has not
been properly addressed - not in
the metal roofing. But the building
owner sees it as “the roof” is
leaking, not as a problem with the
roof curb.
Our curb designs, techniques, and
details have been refined to the
point that with qualified erectors, a
metal building SHOULD NOT LEAK
at the penetrations.

information about our roof curbs.48’ Cricket
Why is there a misconception that
every metal building leaks? When
a roof is penetrated for skylights,

other products, all to often the
roof penetrations are incorrectly
addressed resulting in roof leaks
that causes extensive internal

Color matching a standing seam roof has never been
so easy or cost effective. The S-5!TM COLORGARD®
system color matches structural and architectural
standing seam roofs, and is guaranteed to last the life
of the metal roof material. How is this possible? The
COLORGARD IS the roof material! That’s right, the same
high quality prefinished material used for the roof is
simply inserted into the front of the COLORGARD bar for
a perfect match. Using color strips with a Kynar 500®
or Hylar 5000® finish, the system will keep the 20 year
color match. Color strips are sheared to 2” x 96” long
with a material thickness up to .050”.
COLORGARD is furnished in 8’ (nominal) lengths, with prepunched
holes 4” on center (also available in unpunched bars with
VersaClipsTM) for attachment to the S-5-UTM, S-5-ZTM, S-5-TTM clamps
or VersaBracketsTM. The VersaBrackets are used for screw down
roof panels. A splice piece is also furnished to facilitate end-to-end
joining of adjacent sections while providing for linear expansion and
contraction of the finished assembly. COLORGARD mounts to the
S-5! clamps with the stainless steel bolt provided. The S-5! clamps
attach to the standing seam of the panel by tightening stainless
steel set screws with any contractor grade screw gun with a hex
bit attachment. The special stainless steel, round-nosed screw will
slightly dimple, but not cut or pierce the panel seam.
Snow Retention
Compared to difficult adhesive or block type snow retention systems, installing COLORGARD is a cinch, with an approximate install rate of 18'-24' per man hour. No messy or unreliable adhesives with unpredictable cure times to worry about.

Through the years,
metal roofing has
become the popular choice
of building owners alike. This
trend has exposed a major is-
sue of sliding snow and ice from
rooftops, which can cause ex-
tensive property damage and
liability issues. The cost of not
installing a COLORGARD snow re-
tention system can far out weigh the initial investment of
protecting your property from the adverse affects of sliding
snow and ice that can avalanche from rooftops at any time -
damaging gutters, vent pipes, cars, and landscaping.

Clean lines, cylindrical shapes, and a high-tech appear-
ance make SnoRailTM and SnoFenceTM the favorite choice
of architects and roof designers. These systems have a
sleek, unobtrusive look on mill finished panels such as
unpainted Galvalume, stainless steel and titanium zinc.
The soft gray appearance is also complimentary to pre-
painted steel and aluminum panels. Both systems are
available in aluminum, stainless steel and brass (for
copper roofing).
The stainless steel SnoPostTM, when threaded into the clamp, pro-
vides for the addition of a second SnoRodTM, about 2” above the
first. A double rod configuration is called SnoFence. The S-5-AETM
and SnoPostETM are used at the rate of one per 48’ of assembly,
and at the ends of the assembly, to “fix” the SnoRod, preventing
lateral movement. The S-5-ATM clamp should be spaced a maximum
of 24” on center (it may also be placed closer in severe situations).
The SnoRod inserted through the S-5-A clamps will be positioned
just above the panel seams. Each snow retention systems use the
same bullet nosed set screws to attach to the panel seam - which
will “dimple” but not pierce the panel seam. The clamp fits both
vertical and horizontal standing seam panels, having a finished
seam thickness of .40” or less.

snow DiverterOur solution to this problem is simple, our Snow Diverter. Utiliz-
ing the non-penetrating S-5! clamps, our Snow Diverter is specifi-
cally designed to divert snow and ice from stacks and vent pipes
to avoid unnecessary damage. The heavy aluminum construction
retains the snow above the roof penetrations to relieve excessive loads. All diverters are designed on a
per job basis for your specific application requirements.

Never before has mounting solar panels, pipes, conduit,
HVAC units, and banners been so easy. Utilizing the S-5!
technology, installation of rooftop units on standing seam
metal roofs can be done without fear of voiding roof panel
warranties. Installation is as simple as placing the clamp on
the seam and tightening the round-nosed set screws to the
specified torque. Then, using the bolt provided, attach the
various roof mounted items. Independent lab data clearly
shows that S-5! utility clamps can be used for load-critical
designs and applications.

Allow your next project to shine with natural lighting solutions by utilizing
our common or uncommon skylights configurations. Major investments in
"greener" technologies such as solar modules or wind turbines are not always
required to become more energy efficient. With sunlight as the free lighting
source, and with energy cost reductions becoming immediate upon installa-
tion, skylights often pay for themselves over a short period of time.

Roof walk allows workers to easily perform routine maintenance on rooftop
HVAC units, fans, and other roof mounted products. Workers can safely walk
on the anti-skid walkway system without fear of damaging standing seams
or panel ribs.
Periodic rooftop traffic will greatly increase the likelihood of a worker ac-
cidentally compromising the roof's integrity. Avoiding damage to standing
seams and panel ribs has never been so easy. The solution for anyone need-
ing to safely walk on a rooftop is our roof walk system, which can be installed
perpendicular, parallel, and even diagonally on the roof seams.Using the S-5! clamps, roof walkway systems easily attach to standing seam metal roofs.
Roof Walk
Eliminating a single dangerous task from a firefighter's "list" of responsi-
bilities when they arrive on the scene of a burning building can be life sav-
ing. Buildings with smoke vent systems installed help eliminate the dan-
gerous time consuming task of cutting holes in the roof to reduce lateral
fire spread, reduce flashback and lower the building's internal temperature.
Industrial and commercial buildings become incredibly dangerous places in
the event of a fire. Each year, roof failure caused by intense interior heat due
to the lack of smoke vents can cause serious injury and even death to build-
ing occupants. Whether your spec calls for drop-out or mechanical vents, we
can meet your needs.
