A guide to Outreach

Do you need help with accessing the community to do things likeshopping, swimming, lunches, clubs and more?
Enjoy more independence with like minded people
Outreach offers you tailored support and assistance to access the community and to do the things you enjoy, including:
Accessing facilities such as libraries, clubs and shops.
Undertaking leisure activities including swimming, golf, fishing and bingo.
Support with day to day tasks such as cooking.
One to one support provided by our specialist sighted guides.
Accessing new interests such as using computers and assistive technology.
Help to revisit past interests.
Assistance to attend meetings, appointments or travel to work.
A personal assistant service to help you at work.
After an intial visit to fully understand your individual needs, you will be allocated a primary and secondary worker matched to your personality and interests. We aim to give you consistency in those delivering your services, and the ability to build on-going relationships over time.
Pricing Information
Outreach support is priced at £15.50 per hour. Sessions can be booked for a minimum of 30 minutes, up to a full day.
Outreach runs five days a week from Monday – Friday. Usual hours are from 9.00am - 5.00pm however we offer flexibility and tailoring of the service where necessary to allow for things such as early appointments.
We have a wide range of both male and female workers with a mix of personalities and interests to match those of our customers.
Our Outreach team also works closely with the Essex Guardians, safeguarding individual’s finances.
