A new year! A new sem! Most of the junta has seen their CG plummeting!This is true especially for the secondyear batch as they are now recovering

from that aftershock. So now we havethe whole of the second year junta On

a mission to improve their CGs.But its not all. Some are highly

immune to this side effect of the driftand stand apart from theconglomerate of chhaggis and sattis.And the paramount personage of this

immunity is none other than GautamKumar. Once again with a 10, hecontinues to hold the top-spot, thuskeeping the validity of IR1 is aLajpatian reinstated.

Alumni-Meet The annual Alumni meet was heldrecently on 9th of this month. The

alumni were mostly busy in recallingtheir heydays as boarders of this hall.And some of the boarders were

shocked to see their room dadasvisiting their room, and those roomdadas were also equally appalled onseeing the derelict state of the roomsby our flighty boarders.

Inter Hall Practices

The grounds of the hall may be seen

occupied on all evenings, and onholidays, in morning time too. Well, its

the time when inter hall practices arein full swing. Cricket, Footy, Hockey,Basky and Chess practises havestarted. Though some of the event areintervening with SF and KTJ, and the

players will have to miss some of theglitz and frolicsome time. But thishasnt dimmed the tempo of our

players at all. By the way, they canalways watch the star-nights, the mainattraction of the event.

English dramatics starts from 17 th . Andso do we see Shaunak and Amit along

with there crew practising day andnight, all set to come out with a blazing

performance on the day. And dontforget to watch out our warriors on thestage.

Inter Hall Events

After the exciting silver winning

performances in Illu and Rangoli,another exciting performance camewith a gold in cartooning and bronze in

western instrumentals. However,Product and Add Design, Dumbcharades and Collaging havent gonewell for us as we returned empty-handed for these events. Even the

performance at athletics havent beengreat except for a few individual ones

like gold in triple jump by Devesh,silver in relay and bronze by Pralav inhurdles race. But dont bedisheartened....there are many moreevents to come this semester and the

Sher-e-Punjabs are sure to make acomeback with a bang.

Job job everywhere Not a treat to eat!

Apologies for the murder of the poem.But the truth is that while theplacement graph of the Insti is headingnorthward, compared to last yearsstatistics, yet we are still awaiting a

single treat from our seniors. Its longtime the excuse of financial crunches

have been going on, and now time to

get the dues cleared. Still, our heartiestcongratulations to all the seniors whohave been placed, and Best Wishes to

those who are still to be headhunted.

Coming Soon- Fest Fever

The junta is waiting fervidly for theevent, the SF and KTJ teams are

grappling hard with the shedloads of work foisted on it. Even the muggusare in wait for the event, and are readyto give their eyes some pretty,variegated, blooming sights after thelong lurid sights of books.

Once again Popcorn wishes all the bestto the passing out junta for their

future, and encourages the rest of the junta to participate fervently in thisfeast-fest, and to wangle out treatsfrom the tightwads.
