4. INTEREST RATE GUARANTEE

4.1 On balances of £1 or more we agree to pay a gross annual interest rate which tracks at 1.50% below the Bank of England Base

Rate until 31 December 2010 (but the rate will nev er be less than 0.10%).

4.2 We will change the interest rate on the day that the Bank of England Base Rate changes.

4.3 When the interest rate guarantee period ends we may change the rate in accordance with the Personal Banking terms and

conditions.

5. COOLING OFF

5.1 If y ou are not happy with y our choice of account or serv ice, y ou can cancel it within 30 day s of opening the account or taking

the serv ice. We will then help y ou to mov e to another account we of f er or will return y our money to y ou with any interest y ou hav e

earned.
