Profession involves all the curriculum based education into
practice. It is a never ending struggle for striving to become the
best professional in any field. Every situation is a new challenge
and every problem has its own peculiar solution.
The field of law is full of complexities and require strong and smart characters to withstand the
obstacles that arise on their journey to success. Lloyd believes in building such characters out of its
students to give them a strong foundation to build their careers on.
I feel proud and delighted to announce the 2nd Edition of Lloyd Law Job Fest which is scheduled to
be organized on 27th and 28th of July 2019. After the successful completion of 1st Edition in the
2018, Lloyd Law Job Fest has became the best opportunity for budding lawyers to set forth their
foot in the professional legal world.
It is an unbiased national platform open to all the law school graduates in India to participate and
secure the best placement opportunity for themselves. It is a bilateral event which is aimed at
providing mutual benefits to both the employers and the budding law graduates looking for the
best employees and best placement opportunities respectively.
We look forward to bring the best Law Firms, Advocates, Corporate bodies, etc. across the country
together to provide the widest range of job options and provide multiple interview panels to the
students to appear for. This is also a great opportunity for the employers to choose from a large pool
of law graduates who suit their expectations and requirements.
Moreover, it is a unique platform for applicants to interact with the top recruiters and be able to
understand their requirements and expectations from a job seeker. It is a fair chance for all the
deserving candidates to secure their positions in the top legal fields in India on the basis of a just
evaluation of their achievements, experience and personal interview.
Therefore, it gives me an immense pleasure to welcome you all to be a part of this event which is

their job related queries.
Lloyd is giving an opportunity to the law graduates irrespective of their law school to
make a good impression on their potential coworkers by interacting face-to-face with one

Learning is incomplete if one is not aware about the practical implementation
of it. One cannot experience practicality without stepping out of their shell.
Regular internship opportunities are the key that helps the students to get out
in practical legal world and explore the legal profession. Excellence they say
flows beyond boundaries and we at Lloyd believe the journey has just begun
as we strive to scale new heights and in the process explore uncharted
terrains.
Lloyd Law College provides equal and open opportunities to all its students to
secure internships and placements in their areas of interest. The institute also
chisels their soft skills by providing them resource persons and pre-placement
training sessions to help them cater the needs of their employers better.
The Internship Cell provides internships opportunities to its students in
various corporates, law firms, NGOs, LPOs and also with independent
lawyers to let them explore the professional world from all prospects and
make better placement choices in future.
The Placement Cell works with Corporate and other professional institutions
to build the overall development of students as per the industrial
requirements. Lloyd Law College is committed to providing best talent for the

First First Report Report The First edition of Lloyd Law Job Fest was organized in the year 2018 (07.04.19 – 08.04.19), where
approximately 410 students, over 110 different law schools from across the country participated. The
event was open for final year law students of LL.B (3 years), integrated LL.B (5 years), LL.M and Law
Graduates.
The Inaugural Ceremony was addressed by Mr. P.S. Narasimha, The Additional Solicitor General of India.
He praised the initiative of the College to organize such an event on a national platform and expressed his
best wishes for the popularity of the same in the years to come. He also discussed in detail the
significance and scope of the legal profession.
The focus of Mr. Narasimha's speech was on the aim of the legal profession while laying emphasis on the
pursuit of truth and further he spoke about the trilogy mechanism for the determination of the truth. He
further mentioned that there exists no difference between the Bar and the Bench as both work in the
direction of universal pursuit of truth.
The Valedictory Ceremony was addressed by Senior Advocate Mr. Siddharth Luthra. He began his
speech by applauding and appreciating the changes that have taken place in Lloyd Law College over the
years and how the college and its students have excelled in various fields.
Further, he compared the conditions of the lawyers in India in the recent times with the period when law
was not a popular field among the people. Mr. Luthra spoke about the gradual democratization in the legal
profession and the emergence of law firms in India. He advised the students to bring excellence in their
work and concluded his speech with his words of gratitude.
The Event was beneficial for both recruiters and the participants. More than 80 participants got instant
selection and more than 200 were in the waiting list for further interview. Apart from the interviews,
applicants actively took part in group discussions as well as online and offline tests conducted by the
participating recruiters. Resumes of the applicants were graded by focused teams, allotment of
applicants was made and they were allotted to the recruiters on the basis of their respective grades and
preferences.
The 2 days event received a lot of appreciation from candidates and recruiters alike, which has
encouraged us to organize our 2nd Edition of the Lloyd Law Job Fest in July 2019.
