Blessings NowWhere do you live?I realize thats a simple question, but I want

you to stop and think about your answer or amoment. Your immediate response might beto name a country or a city. You probably thinko the spot on this earth where you wake upeach morning and go to bed each nighttheplace where you keep your natural belongings.

But i youre a believer, you need to thinkmore deeply than that.You need to become aware o the act that

although you are in this world, you do notbelong to this natural worlds order. You are a

citizen o heaven. You are, even here and now,privileged to live in that kingdom.Tat statement would startle many Christ-

ians. Religion has taught them that they wontreach Gods kingdom until they die and go to

heaven. But the Bible says weve already madethe transer. It says, [Te Father] has delivered

and drawn us to Himsel out o the controland the dominion o darkness and has trans-erred us into the kingdom o the Son o Hislove (Colossians 1:13, Te Amplifed Bible).

Because God dwells in us and among us,

His kingdom is present with us right now.Jesus said it this way: Te kingdom o Goddoes not come with signs to be observedor with visible display. Nor will people say,Look! Here [it is]! or, See, [it is] there! For

behold, the kingdom o God is within you[in your hearts] and among you [surrounding

you] (Luke 17:20-21, Te Amplifed Bible).Certainly we will go on to the place

called heaven when our bodies die or when

Jesus catches us away. And thats great,because heaven is a wonderul place! Its theheadquarters o this great kingdom. But,thank God, since were already citizens othe kingdom now, we can enjoy many o the

benets o heaven right here on earth.We can live our lives in love, peace, joy,

prosperity, health and victory. We can alsobring those kingdom blessings to others who

are still under the dominion o darkness.I Christians can do that, you may ask,

why dont they?Mostly its because they havent been veryaware o the kingdom o God. Tey have beenso absorbed in the kingdom o this worldthe world that they can see and touch

they havent given much thought to Godskingdom. Teyre so caught up in the busynesso this natural world and its demands, soamiliar with its way o operating, that theyrepractically strangers to the operations o the

kingdom o God.But we can change that, in the Name o

Jesus! We can obey the instruction o theApostle Paul who wrote: Aim at and seek the[rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where

Christ [the Anointed One] is, seated at theright hand o God. And set your minds andkeep them set on what is above (the higherthings), not on the things that are on theearth (Colossians 3:1-2, Te Amplifed Bible).

By studying and meditating on what theWord has to say about the kingdom o God,we can become more and more kingdom-o-God minded. Tere is so much inormation in

the Word about the kingdom o God, I couldtalk about it or hoursand I have. Brother

Jesse Duplantis says Ken and I are the onlypreachers he knows who can preach on thesame sermon or a year. But we cant help it!

Tats how long it takes us to get through!So all I can do in this book is get you

started. I challenge you to take up thisstudy on your own rom here. Get out yourconcordance and look up all the reerencesto the kingdom o God or the kingdom oheaven. I believe the New estament uses

them interchangeably. Let the reality o thatkingdom get down in your heart so that youare aware o it every day.

A Superior KingdomTe rst important truth the Word reveals

about the kingdom o God is that it issovereign, or superior, to all other kingdoms.

It is chie, the greatest, the most supreme inpower, rank and authority.Actually, the very word kingdom comes

rom the joining o two other words: kinganddominion. A kingdom is the place where the

king has dominion. Tereore, the kingdomo God is where God has dominion.

Since God owns everything in heaven andin earth, He could take dominion everywhere.But He has chosen to exercise that dominionthrough man. He gave Adam authority overthe earth in the Garden o Eden. Tats why

Jesus had to come into the earth and becomeesh. o exercise Gods dominion over Satanin the earth, He had to do it as a man.

Te second important truth the Wordreveals about the kingdom o God is the one

weve already mentioned. Te kingdom oGod is present here and now. It occupies thesame space this natural world occupies. Youmay not be able to see it, but it is here and

very real, nevertheless.

I think one o the best illustrations o thatact is ound in 2 Kings 6, where the prophetElisha and his servant were surrounded by agreat army sent to take them captive:

Elishas servant said to him, Alas, mymaster! What shall we do? [Elisha]answered, Fear not; or those with usare more than those with them. Ten

Elisha prayed, Lord, I pray You, openhis eyes that he may see. And the

Lord opened the young mans eyes,and he saw, and behold, the mountainwas ull o horses and chariots o reround about Elisha (verses 15-17,Te Amplifed Bible).

Tose angelic horses and chariots werethere to protect Elisha and his servant the

whole timeeven though most o that timethey were not visible to the natural eye. Te

angels occupied the same space the enemyarmy occupied. Since the angels were roma superior kingdom, Elisha wasnt araid. Heknew Gods kingdom would prevail.

I youll just grasp that one act, it will

enable you to walk in great joy and peace inthe midst o this messed-up world. I youll

just realize the kingdom o God has dominionand control over the natural realm, then you

wont be araid. You can rejoice knowing that

because you belong to Gods kingdom, you cantake dominion over every natural circumstancethe devil tries to use against you.

Glory to God! Isnt that thrilling?

A Ministry of HeavenlyBreakthroughs

O course, Jesus is the One who madethat possible or us. He opened the way. Heestablished Gods kingdom among us andshowed us how to bring it into maniestation

in this natural world.But Gloria, you may say, I thought Jesus

said His kingdom wasnt o this world.He did, but that doesnt mean His

kingdom didnt operate in this world. Whatit means is that its power didnt originatehere. Te Amplifed Biblesays it this way, Mykingdom is not rom here (this world); [it hasno such origin or source](John 18:36).

Jesus whole ministry was one o preachingand demonstrating the kingdom o God. AsMark 1:14-15 says, His ministry began whenHe came into Galilee,preaching the gospel othe kingdom o God, and saying, Te time isullled, and the kingdom o God is at hand:repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Jesus was saying, You dont have to waitanymore. Te dominion o God, His kingdom,is here right now! You can come in. Gods

power is here to break into this natural worldto heal, deliver and set you ree! So change

your mind. Quit thinking like you used tothink. Believe this good news!Luke 4 spells that message out even more

clearly. It tells how Jesus stood in the syna-gogue and preached rom Isaiah 61, saying:

Te Spirit o the Lord [is] upon Me,because He has anointed Me...topreach the good news (the Gospel)to the poor; He has sent Me to

announce release to the captives,and recovery o sight to the blind, tosend orth as delivered those who areoppressed [who are downtrodden,bruised, crushed, and broken

down by calamity], to proclaimthe accepted and acceptable year othe Lord [the daywhen salvationand the ree avors o God prouselyabound]. oday this Scripture has

been ullled while you are presentand hearing (Luke 4:18-19, 21, TeAmplifed Bible).

Jesus said, I am anointed. What is theanointing? Its the maniestation o Gods

presence that brings deliverance. Te anointingis the kingdom o God bursting in upon thisnatural realm and bringing Gods ree avorsprousely. Prousely means lavishly, liberally,extravagantly, over and abounding. Hallelujah!

Jesus didnt just preach about this divinekingdom. He demonstrated it. He operatedin the dominion o God by taking authorityover the evil spirits that had people bound,by laying hands on the sick and driving the

sickness out o their bodies.Read through the Gospels and see or

yoursel. ime ater time, Jesus exercised thedominion o the kingdom o God. He cameto Peters house, ound Peters mother-in-law

sick, laid His hands on her and healed her.Te leper came to Him or healing and

Jesus said, Be thou clean, and immediatelythe leprosy was cleansed. Jairus daughterdied, and Jesus raised her rom the dead.

He cast the demons out o the madman oGadara. When there wasnt enough oodto eed the thousands who were listeningto Him preach in a remote place, He

multiplied a ew loaves and shes into morethan enough ood to eed the whole crowd!

Do you know what those instances were?Tey were times when the kingdom o Godbroke through into this natural realm bythe anointing that was on Jesus. Tey wereheavenly breakthroughs!

Take Off the LimitsJesus didnt intend or those breakthroughs

to stop at the end o His earthly ministry,either. He commissioned His disciples tocontinue His ministry. He told us to go abouthealing the sick and bringing other heavenlybreakthroughs, saying, Te kingdom o

God has come close to you (Luke 10:9, TeAmplifed Bible).Jesus commanded us to:

Go ye into all the world, and preach

the gospel [the good news that thekingdom o God is here] to everycreature. He that believeth andis baptized shall be saved; but hethat believeth not shall be damned.

And these signs [or heavenlybreakthroughs] shall ollow them

that believe; In my name shall theycast out devils; they shall speakwith new tongues; they shall takeup serpents; and i they drink anydeadly thing, it shall not hurt them;

they shall lay hands on the sick, andthey shall recover (Mark 16:15-18).

Its the responsibility o the Church tomaniest the kingdom o God in this natural

realm. Its our job to exercise the dominion othat kingdom, and demonstrate it so otherscan experience its reality and become citizenso Gods kingdom themselves!

Until now, the Church hasnt been getting

that job done nearly as well as it should. Whyis that? Primarily, its because most believershave become so busy with the natural afairso lie, they havent had time to learn muchabout how to operate in the kingdom o God.

Teyre so busy seeking the things o thisworldood, clothes, houses, cars, money topay their billsthey dont even give muchthought to the things o Gods kingdom.

Actually, thats not very smart. Why shouldwe invest ourselves so much in this natural

world? Its systems are limited. When we aceimpossible situations, this natural world has noanswer or us. It cant help us with an incurabledisease or an insoluble nancial crisis.

But with God all things are possible! Tere

are no limitations in the kingdom o God! Itknows no impossibilities! So what we needto do is obey the instructions Jesus gave inMatthew 6:

ake no thought or your lie, whatye shall eat, or what ye shall drink;nor yet or your body, what ye shallput on. (For ater all these thingsdo the Gentiles seek:) or your

heavenly Father knoweth that yehave need o all these things. Butseek ye rst the kingdom o God,and his righteousness; and all thesethings shall be added unto you

(verses 25, 32-33).

Te Amplifed Bible claries that lastverse even more. It says, seek (aim at and

strive ater) rst o all His kingdom and Hisrighteousness (His way o doing and being

right). In other words, i we want to operatein the dominion o God, we have to nd outHis way o doing things and then do thingsHis way. Well have to change the way wethink. Well have to start thinking and acting

like He does instead o thinking and actinglike the world.Well have to seek Him and His principles,

put our dependence rst and oremost onHim, and then Hell see to it that our natural

needs are met.You see, the principles o the kingdom o

God always work. God has spoken and setthem into motion by His Word. Tey will

work or anyone who will put them to work.

For example, one o those principles, theprimary one, is the law o sowing and reaping.Galatians 6:7-8 states that law very simply:Be not deceived; God is not mocked: or

whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also

reap. For he that soweth to his esh shall o theesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to theSpirit shall o the Spirit reap lie everlasting.

works in both the kingdom o God and thekingdom o this world. I you sow into the

kingdom o darkness, you reap the harvesto that kingdomdeath in all its orms.I you invest your time and money in theconcerns o the world, youll end up on drugs,pornography and alcohol. Youll end up sick

and unhappy.On the other hand, i you sow to thekingdom o God, youll reap the harvest othat kingdomabundant lie in all its orms.

As Romans 8:6 says, For to be carnally

minded [to think like the world thinks] isdeath; but to be spiritually minded [to thinklike God thinks] is lie and peace.

Its Up to YouO course, i you want to sow into the

kingdom o God you must rst be born again.You do that simply by making Jesus the Lord

o your lie.You can read the Bible all day, and it wontmake sense to you i you havent taken thatrst step. Te great kingdom truths it contains

will be hidden rom you. Why? Because, as

Jesus said, Except a man be born again, hecannot see the kingdom o God ( John 3:3).

A person who hasnt been born againsimply cannot understand the way Godthinks. Te ways o His kingdom are beyondhis grasp because he is in darkness.

A person who has been born again,

however, is translated into Gods kingdom.He immediately has the ability to know andwalk in Gods ways. How much he does romthen on is up to him. Te more he seeks aterGod and His way o doing and being right,

the more o His power and dominion hellenjoy. Te more he renews his mind to Gods

Wordwhich is His way o thinkingandchanges his lie in obedience to that Word,the more hell see the kingdom o heaven

maniest in his lie and the lives o thosearound him.

Te wonderul thing about the kingdom oGod is that you dont have to be rich or smartor talented to walk in it. Anyone can do it. All

you have to do is nd out what God says andact on it. When you do, blessingsheavenlybreakthroughswill begin to happen.

So I want to encourage you to start

today investing more o yourselyourtime, thought and energyinto seeking the

kingdom o God. Determine in your heart tochange some areas in your lie. Dig into theWord more deeply and nd out what Godsays about those areas. Ten start acting likeHe does instead o like the world.

Heighten your awareness o the kingdomo God. Become more and more kingdom-o-God minded. Ten get ready or the blessingso heaventhe lavish, liberal-to-excess,extravagant and over-abounding avors o the

kingdom o Godto break through on you!

Prayer for Salvation and

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name o Jesus. Your Word says, Whosoever shall call on the nameo the Lord shall be saved (Acts 2:21). I am calling on

You. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and beLord over my lie according to Romans 10:9-10: I thou shalt coness with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, andshalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised himrom the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heartman believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth

conession is made unto salvation. I do that now. Iconess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart thatGod raised Him rom the dead.

I am now reborn! I am a Christiana childo Almighty God! I am saved! You also said in YourWord, I ye then, being evil, know how to give good

gits unto your children: HOW MUCH MOREshall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit tothem that ask him? (Luke 11:13). Im also askingYou to fll me with the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, riseup within me as I praise God. I ully expect to speakwith other tongues as You give me the utterance(Acts 2:4). In Jesus Name. Amen!

Begin to praise God or flling you with theHoly Spirit. Speak those words and syllablesyou receivenot in your own language, but the

language given to you by the Holy Spirit. You have to useyour own voice. God will not orce you to speak. Dont beconcerned with how it sounds. It is a heavenly language!

Continue with the blessing God has given you andpray in the spirit every day.

You are a born-again, Spirit-flled believer. Youllnever be the same!

Find a good church that boldly preaches Gods Word

and obeys it. Become part o a church amily who willlove and care or you as you love and care or them.We need to be connected to each other. It increases

our strength in God. Its Gods plan or us.Make it a habit to watch the Believers Voice o Victory

television broadcast and become a doer o the Word, who

is blessed in his doing (James 1:22-25).
