With You Always
Children who are preparing for the Holy Sacraments will attend
morning mass this Sunday. After Mass they will enjoy
learning activities that will help get them ready for the
next stage of their faith journey.
Morning Lining Up
The start of the school day is a very busy time. It would be helpful if par-
ents did not line up with the children. It is understandable that you may
wish to give a quick piece of information to a member of school staff, but
please appreciate that teachers need to return to class for registration.
Please give final hugs and kisses before the children line up—thank you.

Relationships and Sex Education
Following consultation with parents, staff and Governors, the school policy
has been agreed from 2017. A number of parents who were unable to at-
tend the parent forum offered, asked for more information. Therefore,
next week a leaflet will be sent home explaining the content for each year
group and the key words used. Sessions will then commence in the second
half of the Spring Term.
Year 3 Super Swimmers
Well done to our Year 3 pupils who started their swimming course on
Wednesday. All of the children did very well and impressed their
coaches, Jenny and Nic. Not only was their swimming great, they
were also perfectly behaved. Enjoy the rest of the course Year 3.
Dinner Money and After School Clubs
Please can all parents/carers try to ensure that you pay for your
child’s school lunches in advance of the lunch being taken. Lunches
can be paid for weekly, monthly or half termly. After school club
should ideally be paid for in advance or as soon as possible after
your child has attended the club.
Thank you for your support

SUGGESTIONS FOR
HOME ACTIVITIES
Explore the Diocesan
website, looking at the
number of churches, and
finding out about our
bishop.
Read Bible stories to-
gether or encourage older
children to read a child’s
Bible.
SUGGESTIONS FOR
HOME ACTIVITIES
Look through the family
photograph album to help
the children remember
important events and spe-
cial people in their lives. Discuss how we come to-
gether for special cele-
brations.
SUGGESTIONS FOR HOME AC-
TIVITIES
As a family talk about how you
are going to practice self-control
and self-giving for the rest of
the season of Lent. You may
decide to give up biscuits or
cakes and donate the money to a
charity.
If you have an older child provide
him/her with an opportunity to
take part in The Stations of the
Cross. Ask your child/ren how
the school is focusing on Lent and
self-giving.
