At University I kept very busy....

I was course rep for American Studies during my second year.

This involved engaging with students regularly and gaining an understanding what they liked and didn't like about the course.

This feedback was then collected and used to make changes to the course.

Since University...

This involved:

Co-ordinating 3 weeks of sporting and creative activities for 10-17 year olds who were learning English as a second language.

Accompanying students on excursions/off-site activities

Leading Performance Workshops where I would be assigned a particular topic to teach and create a performance piece for the children to perform weekly. The key purpose of the Performance

Workshops would be to engage and involve every child no matter what stage their English was at.

From July – August 2012 I worked as an Activity Organiser for the residential English language summer school Absolutely English in Sherborne, Dorset.

Since September 2012 I have been working for TripAdvisor as part of their UK based holiday rentals website holidaylettings.co.uk

I work primarily in the Marketing Department as a Data Acquisition Specialist- generating leads for the sales team and growing the business through the attraction of new home owners to the site.

I have gained experience in Sales, Customer Service and Creative Design due to my ability and desire to learn new skills quickly and adapt to new teams and environments.

I have developed advanced IT skills, mentored new team members and gained a great understanding of B2B Marketing and Sales.

Summertown, Oxfordshire

Since October 2012 I have been voluntarily acting as Marketing Co-Ordinator for the Women's Sport Network (WSNET).

This means that I am responsible for building a database on events which advise on where and when Women can become involved in Sport across the UK.

The purpose of the WSNET is to make “women feel more comfortable and confident about sport”. My job is to help with this process.

I have developed my own initiatives to help Women's Sport Network develop projects and programmes including

Contacting Sports teams directly to encourage setting up beginner sessions or “try days”.

Using Social Media to network with Sports institutions//bodies.

In April 2013, I spent two weeks working voluntarily for I LOVE TOUR.co.uk as a Hotel Rep.

Salou, Spain

I Love Tour are a University Sports Travel company that offer Sports Tours across various resorts in Europe.

As a Hotel Rep, I was the main point of contact between the hoteliers and the student group leaders.

I dealt with student check in, check out, damage management, the safety and comfort and clients and the co-ordination of Sports activities.

The job required a strong sense of leadership, attention to details, organisation skills, sense of humour. Most importantly it required tremendous energy and stamina.
