1. Introduction
LIVE@containerchain is a new, innovative and interactive website that will allow you to

Some features of LIVE@containerchain are;
• The ability to enter orders, upload and view documents, and obtain real time
updates of every movement from any LIVE-enabled carrier in Australia
• Accurate demurrage tracking and an alert system to tell you when any container you
have in the system has a problem coming up (detention, demurrage, no timeslot, not
on time etc)
• Links to the new ‘Driver’ app that every truck will use to manage their jobs, including
instant online POD’s and truck tracking
• An ability to add new transport companies via the system, similar to adding a friend
on social media.

2.2 Delivery Addresses
The delivery addresses tab of ‘Live’ allows users to add their favourite delivery addresses
and contact details. This is especially useful for Freight Forwarders, who may have special
delivery addresses that are not in SENSIS data, or are newer than SENSIS’ last update.
Custom addresses added through the book import / book export screens, will appear on this
list also.
2.3 Transporters
This screen allows users to view transporters who they want to establish a relationship with.
In Live, a relationship is defined as a connection between Freight Forwarder (or importer /
exporter) and Transport Company, which allows said transporter to receive jobs from said
Freight Forwarder. Statuses of relationships are as follows:
Active - Transporter has accepted Freight Forwarders request
to be in a ‘Live’ relationship. This status allows jobs to be sent to
transporter.
Pending - A request has been sent by the Freight
Forwarder to the transporter, but the transporter is yet to respond.
Rejected - The transporter has rejected the application to
be in a ‘Live’ relationship with the sending Freight Forwarder. This
status does not allow the requesting Freight Forwarder to send jobs
to the recipient transport company.
2.3.1 Add New Transporter
If a Freight Forwarder wishes to establish a ‘Live’ relationship with a transporter, they may
do so by selecting ‘add new transporter’, and then selecting the appropriate transporter
from the dropdown list. The user can then establish a nickname for the transporter. Once
the ‘save’ button has been hit, the selected transporter will appear as having the status of
‘pending’ in the transporters page.

2.4 Roles
Roles specify the various user access rights of an account. Primarily, roles allow the account
administrator to tailor various roles, via the allowance and disallowance of permissions,
based on the job role. Once roles are established, setting up users becomes a significant
amount easier, through allocating permissions to user groups, rather than individual users.
2.4.1 Add New Role
a. Click the ‘Add Role’ button
b. Assign the role a name.
c. If you would like to base the role on another profile, select the profile
that you would like to partially mimic.
d. Use the ‘>’ and ‘<’ buttons to disable and enable features, respectively.
e. Set the role to active
