This African Map has been made from woods, all native to Africa. Considerable effort was made in the collection of the wood species to obtain specimens from the actual countries represented. Only in a few cases we had to settle for a species that was just indigenous to the country represented. Youth Hunt Guided Non Trophy Sheep Hunt Donated by: Four Aces Ranch This is a guided hunt for one youth (8 to 17 years old). Hunt will take place July 15-16-17, 2016 only. One parent or guardian is included with the youth on this hunt. Up to ten youth will be on this hunt. This is a bunkhouse style camp with toilet and shower facilities. Hunt will take place at the Four Aces Ranch (The old Clover Creek Ranch) in Ashwood, Oregon. Travel day to Oregon will be on July 14th.Transportation for the youth may be provided if needed. Food for the youth and one parent or guardian observer is included during the hunt. All personal gear including sleeping bag and rifle must be provided by the hunter. Animal selection will depend on availability, but will be for Non Trophy Corsican Sheep, or Black Hawaiian Sheep. Our friend Barry Minkoff has generously donated a gorgeous hand-made One-A-Kind Custom Knife. The material for this knife was donated by Steve & Doileen Turner and is from the USS Long Beach CGN-9. The steel is high carbon steel and the wood handle is from the deck planks. It comes in a custom display box made for this out of teak wood from the Long Beach. The Long Beach was de-commissioned and was being cut up in Puget Sound Naval Shipyard where the material from the project team was obtained.
