Oh, by the way,
Some will say I’m beating a dead horse. Yes and no!
Looking ahead, the Business Office will close on 20
December and not reopen till 2 January. So what? Over
the past couple months, I have been encouraging all
parishioners to be registered on REALM. A few have
registered. Thank you. It is so simple to register: contact the
Business Office. You will be sent an invitation to join REALM. Each family completes
their own registration with their own personal password. There are options: e.g. one
may add a family/individual picture. Now, why am I beating a dead horse? 20
December will be here before you know it AND each family will be responsible for
downloading their own contribution/tax contribution form after 1 February 2020 and
each succeeding year thereafter. For those already participating in REALM, you now
have access to your YTD contributions. What many do not know is how chaotic
December and January are in any Business Office! January is swamped with multiple
end-of-the –year diocesan reports. REALM makes it easier for YOU! No phone call to
request a financial statement…then waiting. BAM, it’s there! PLEASE, call, ask for your
invitation and get registered NOW!
So, what is REALM? As a refresher, Realm puts most important ministry responsibilities all under one roof. It's one place to perform administration, accounting, and community tasks. It's one place where everyone can sign in. And it's the one place your church can stay informed, connected, and focused on multiplying your ministry.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch…. fr. K
From my little corner of the office,
Wow! What a very hectic last couple of weeks! The old saying “when it rains, it
pours” could not hold truer words! By the grace of God, I survived. As I sit and write
for our bulletin this week, I am filled with
gratitude. In the last two weeks, our Cluster
has experienced more loss than we have
the whole summer! Thank you to Jon &
Dan Frain and Frain Mortuary staff for their
patience with me as we planned graveside
services and Masses; thank you to our
parishioners who were more than willing to
help with filling liturgy assignments for the
services and for those who so graciously used their skills to provide a dessert for the
dinners; thank you to St. Joseph Christian Mothers and the Ladies of Charity of St.
Peters along with Mary Eldridge & Diana Tiede for taking charge of organizing,
cooking and serving the funeral dinners; and last but not least, thank you to Fr. Jeff
and Fr. Gustavo for all of their assistance! I am so grateful to work with you and can
never thank you enough for dropping everything to come to our Cluster’s aid. There
were many miles drove to administer the Sacrament of the Anointing to our
parishioners and then traveling back to lay them in their final resting places. God
Bless everyone!
I also owe so many thanks to our parishioners for their patience the last several
months as I continue with my help at All Saints. God never gives us more than we can
handle, and I feel truly blessed to continue to give my time and talent to not only our
Cluster, but our Diocese and All Saints Parish. Your understanding and patience of
shifted office hours is very much appreciated I could not continue to manage what I
do without the support of our Cluster, All Saints Parish & Staff, Fr. K, Fr. Jeff, Fr. Gustavo,
my husband, Joe, and our kids, Jonathan, Caitlyn, Danny, Victoria and Kendra.
Anyways…. Rachel
