Liturgy for Corporate Worship
The Lord’s Day February 15, 2015
Prelude
Introit Chancel ChoirSurely the Goodness
Call to Worship Philippians 2:9-10
*Opening Hymn 43All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name
*Corporate Prayer of ConfessionHeavenly Father, our salvation rests in Christ and in nothing else. Though our lives are full of good intentions, too often they are also full of faulty steps. Though we profess to trust in you alone, too often we chase after other gods. We confess that our only hope is in Christ Jesus: in his life, death and resurrection. May right-eousness and forgiveness both be ours only by grace, in the name of the One who is the Word made flesh. Amen.
*Assurance of Forgiveness Jude 1:24
*Blessed Assurance 572Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! O what a foretaste of glory di-vine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born of his Spirit, washed in his blood. This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long! This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long!
