AT OUR PARISH, THE YEAR 2020 WILL BE A SPECIAL YEAR FOR US
Repeating my comments at the Christmas Liturgy I wish to call the Year 2020, a
YEAR OF THE FAMILY, A YEAR OF REUNION. I wish to invite every family of all
sizes to consider a particular Sunday to be Your Family Sunday. A member of the
family may take the lead to make this special day available for all your members. Of
course it is not easy to pick a day for all to attend, so just do your best to gather up as
many members as possible. Your Family Day will include members living and
deceased. You will attend a Liturgy for all your family and as you choose have a
meal here afterwards or go to a place of your choice where you can have a good visit
with each other.
STEP ONE – THINK ABOUT THE BEST DATE FOR YOU AND FAMILY ________________.
STEP TWO – SHARE YOUR PLAN WITH ALL YOUR FAMILY.
STEP THREE – CHECK WITH THE PARISH OFFICE TO SCHEDULE YOUR DATE!
330-666-3598
STEP FOUR – MAKE A COMITMENT AND KEEP IT.
PLAN YOUR TIME FOR YOUR FAMILY DAY.
More details will follow.
If you have good suggestions about this special year let me know.

THE YEAR 2020 IS CALLED
– A YEAR OF THE FAMILY –
– A YEAR OF REUNION –
AT OUR PARISH.
Who will be the first family to respond to our Parish
project of Family Reunion after the Feast of St.
Maron? Make plans. Pick a date. Contact the Parish
Office – 330-666-3598.
Since St. Maron is our Spiritual Father let us all come
together for the Divine Liturgy on his Feast Day,
Sunday, February 9 and attend the Annual Family
Banquet in his honor. Something a little special will
take place at this Banquet to start up our year of the
Family, a year of reunion. Details will follow soon.
May this Reunion Project be of benefit to your family
and to our Parish family.

IMPORTANT DUTIES TO THINK
ABOUT AND TO RESPOND TO …
1. Our Parish Census 2020 project. I am calling on all parish members ages 18 and up to please respond to this little duty as soon as you can. We need to complete our Parish information with accuracy. Many have already returned a form. We still are missing Census Forms from many members. If you need any forms we have all you need.
2. The Capital Campaign for our Eparchy. Please find in the bulletin a pledge form for your use. Please remember small and large pledges are all welcome.
********************************************
When Santa comes to town, he brings a LOT of paper
with him!
So, remember to gather your Christmas cards, boxes,
tissue paper and wrapping paper (minus the ribbons
and bows) and drop all of that into our paper recycling
bins here at church. You'll help the environment while
you help to raise money for our church at the same
time! Let's keep all of that paper out of the landfill!
********************************************
The ACME COMMUNITY CASHBACK program has
drawn to a close. PLEASE do your best to bring in any
remaining ACME receipts you have saved to add to
our collection box.
February 7, 2020 submission We have until the
deadline to turn in our final numbers, so please submit
your receipts AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
********************************************
REMEMBER OUR BRIDGE CLUB? We still have an ongoing project of gathering funds to
replace the Bridge near the back of our property. The
old bridge is failing and our Bridge Club Membership
Drive is designed to defray the expense. Please do your
best to help us “bridge” the gap in this expense!
