Joyful Learners who love to share and care!
For our SSDB project, our children unanimously decided todo something that would put a smile on the faces of ourpioneer generation. We visited Orange Valley NursingHome, where we had a wonderful opportunity to interactwith the residents. The children entertained them with theirsinging and dancing, and the pioneers enjoyed theperformance by clapping their hands and tapping their feetto the rhythm of the songs. We concluded our visit bypresenting the food items that we collected during ourdonation drive prior to the visit.
This SSDB project has definitely been a meaningful learningexperience for all of us.

Planting: The children's little green hands turnedseedlings on a small plot of land into vegetables. 3. Keep Our Neighbourhood Clean: Children's busy littlehands transformed the neighbourhood into a clean haven.Let's applaud their efforts!

A Visit to the National Museum!
For this year’s SSDB project, the children brought the elderlyto the National Museum. The children were careful andmindful of the elderly they were attached to. They sloweddown their pace, walked with them, and held on tightly tothem. Some children chatted with the elderly while somewere a little shy.
At the end of the day, the elderly were very happy andshared that they enjoyed themselves very much. Thechildren broke the ice, especially for an elderly who had notsmiled for a long time. It was touching when it was time topart as the children hugged and told the elderly that theywould miss them.

Giving New Life to Old Items
Skool4kidz (Woodlands Ring Road) adopted Recycling asthe main thrust of our SSDB campaign. In order for childrento see the true value of the 3R's, each child contributed atoy and a book. The K2 children decided on the price ofeach item for sale. Most importantly, the children gave old items anew life, learnt the value of shared efforts towards acommon goal and had the satisfaction of achieving resultsfar better than anticipated!
