Live Comic Book Reading Join us on Monday, April 10th at 7pm as Cape Swoosh Productions, a Montclair-based group dedicated to presenting audio productions and live performances of popular comics, presents a live comic reading of Scooby-Doo Team Up stories, “The Gotham Ghouls” and “Scooby-Doo and the Conjuror’s Conundrum”.

Author Reading: Oliver and His Unlikely Friend Local author, Jacqueline Lopresti will be at the Little Falls Public Library on Thursday, April 13th at 11am to read from her debut children’s book: Oliver and his Unlikely Friend. This is a heartwarming story highlighting the value of true friendship, regardless of its shape or size. This book is geared toward Pre-K to 3rd grade, but can appreciated by all. Jacqueline will also be available after the reading to sign copies of her book.

Elder Investment Fraud: how to spot, stop, and avoid becoming a victim of fraud On Tuesday, May 23rd, at 1pm the New Jersey Bureau of Securities will present a program on steps you can

take to avoid elder investment fraud. Find out about common senior scams, what some of

the red flags are to help you recognize if you or a family member has become a victim of

elder fraud, and what to do in case you are a victim. The New Jersey Bureau of Securities is

committed to protecting seniors from becoming victims of investment fraud.

Color Your World Join us at the Library for 1 ½ hours of coloring for meditation, relaxation, and focus on the first

Friday of each month at 1pm: April 7th, May 5th, and June 2nd. No registration required.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga sessions with instructor Stacey Myers-Smith, RYT-200 are held on Mondays at

11:30am and Fridays at 11am. Cost is $5 per session. You do not need to be physically flexible

to participate. Please bring your own towel or yoga mat. No registration required.

Evenings of Guided Meditation Evenings of guided meditation will be held on the following Wednesdays at 7pm:

April 19th, and May 17th. The free 45 minute sessions are led by Stacey Myers-Smith,

RYT-200. No prior experience is needed. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a

beach towel or yoga mat. No registration required.

Pop-Up Mother’s Day Card On Saturday, May 6th at 1pm, the Library will be hosting a pop-up card making craft just in time for Mother’s Day. Create a unique, handmade card for Mom that she is sure to cherish for years to come. Ages 5 and up. Registration required.

Free Comic Book Day! Every year on the first Saturday in May, comic book shops around the globe give away free comic books to anyone who comes into their stores. On Saturday, May 6th, stop by the Library and pick up YOUR free comic book courtesy of Time Warp Comics & Games of Cedar Grove.

LegoRama Calling all Legos fans! Join us for Legos at the Library on the first Wednesday of every month from 6:30-7:30pm: April 5th, May 3rd, and June 7th. Ages 5 and up. Please register.

Read to a Dog! Tail Waggin’ Tutors will be at the Little Falls Public Library on Wednesday April 19th at 5:30pm.

School-aged children can practice their reading skills by reading to a trained therapy dog in a

relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Registration Required.

Spring Story Time Resident Registration: Monday, April 17th.

Non-Resident Registration: Monday, April 24th.

Spring Story Time begins week of May 1st thru June 23rd (8 weeks).

Rhyme Time (Birth-24 months): Thursdays at 10:30 am

Babies will be introduced to simple books, rhymes and music, followed by time for free play and socialization.

Toddlers (2-3 yrs): Tuesdays at 11 am

The Toddler story time consists of age appropriate stories, rhymes, finger plays and music, followed by a craft.

Preschool (4-5 yrs): FIRST Wednesday of every month at 1:30 pm.

We will share books, sing songs, play games and end with a craft.

Family Story Time: FIRST Saturday of every month at 10:30 am. A wonderful chance for children, from

toddler to preschool, to learn, laugh, and grow! We will read simple stories, sing, and offer lots of

opportunities for movement and participation through finger plays and action rhymes.

Saturday story time usually lasts about 25 minutes and is followed by a free play session, giving

adults and children the chance to socialize and interact
