Introduction & Explanation of contextToday, I’d like to talk with you about your cross-cultural executive coaching ex-periences. I will start by asking you some basics about your coaching experience. The following questions will explore your experience of relationship-building in a cross-cultural coaching context.

I will be recording the interview and may also take some notes during the in-terview. Before we begin, do you have any questions or concerns?

1. The Coach-Personality• What is your professional background? (Internal or External Coach? Train-

ing background?)• Some authors distinguish between different styles of coaching, for example

Skill Coaching and Transformative Coaching. Briefl y, how would you de-scribe your own style of coaching?
