listings pamphlet for manchester after hours 2015
DESCRIPTION
Manchester After Hours is a one night, city wide social. A mix of odd couplings and musical mayhem. A host of curious events at every turn. A chance for you to get into places and spaces not often open after dark. It’s part of the national Museums and Night festival, and this year’s programme, organised by cultural diarists CreativeTourist.com, features poet laureates and soundscapes; secret gigs amongst medieval book stacks; traditional Warli art, contemporary music and a live literature tour amongst the 29 events occurring on the evening. This brochure tells you more about them all and will be available to collect from various locations on the evening. Enjoy. Manchester After Hours is part of Museums at Night, a nationwide festival. Manchester After Hours is coordinated by Creative Tourist (with special thanks to Rivca Burns). It wouldn’t be possible without the involvement and support of Manchester’s cultural venues, arts organisations, creative producers and all of their generous and many funders and supporters. We salute and thank you all.
