The Dubai Financial Market imposes a set of rules and regulations for listing.

The ones for equity trade include conditions for local company listing as well as for foreign company listing in Dubai.

Companies in Dubai must submit a listing application and obtain an approval from the Securities and Commodities Authority.

Copies of the company’s certificate of incorporation and other documents are needed during the pre-listing procedures.

Separate issuer rules and trading rules are applicable. The rules imposed by the Securities and Commodities Authority are applicable.

Another option for company owners is to list on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).

A prior application is also mandatory for the ADX and it includes the company documents and information about the board members.

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange is also regulated by the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).
