DESCRIPTION

This children's book by Noni follows a little girl on her holiday off from school. On this particular day, the electricity is out, so the girl decides to spend the day "listening to her body". She spends time paying attention to her five senses, and takes the time to become better in touch with her bodily processes -- she pays attention to her breath, and to her pulse, and to her belly telling her that she's hungry. The illustations apprear to be of a young girl from the Indian subcontenent, and the book has a decidedly Indian bent (for instance, the "listening to her breath reminds me of Yoga). This book was created using the Pratham Storyweavers platform.
