Our Aim
Our Aim is to protect, conserve and promote the Built Heritage for the appreciation of present and future generations
HERITAGE & REGENERATION BUILT HERITAGE & THE ECONOMY
We recognise that the Built Heritage of Northern Ireland has a large and very important role to play in the current and future economy of Northern Ireland.
Monuments and Listed Buildings are exceptionally important for tourism.
They are equally important for our sense of identity and place.
In many instances, Listed Buildings are the catalyst for positive change and regeneration in Cities, Towns and Villages.
They are also important in their own right, as the tangible evidence of history, culture, art, commerce, industry, tradition, and the skills of our predecessors … plus current conservationists, craftsmen and builders.
