The plan of the Bureau of Education for home gardening under the directionof the public schools contemplates the training of children In the making ofintensive and practical home gardens. 'Teachers who are engaged in thiswork are constantly requesting publications containing in format ion which Willhelp them to answer questions growing out of the home-garden teaching. Thefollowing list of publications has been compiled to meet this need.

The differing demands of the various sections of the country have necessitatedthe listing of a large number of publications. A teacher should request onlya few bulletins at a time, and select carefully those adapted to the locality andwork to be done. A few bulletins thoroughly studied are much more valuablethan a large file unused.
