LIST OF EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS APPROVED FOR USE AT

ESTABLISHMENTS REGISTERED TO PREPARE MEAT AND MEAT PRODUCTS

As at 26 March 2010

All approvals are subject to proving satisfactory in use under operational conditions.

Industry has been previously advised that equipment and materials approved prior to 1 January 1982 will no longer be acceptable for use on registered establishments.

This is to confirm that this approval is withdrawn, however, all such previously approved equipment and materials presently installed on registered establishments may remain in use during their useful life subject to being maintained to a sanitary standard acceptable to the officer-in-charge of inspection at that establishment concerned.

Other equipment approvals between 1982 and 1988 may be found in the booklet ‘Construction and equipment guidelines for export meat’ second edition 1988.
