Hue app Bridge setup

• Open Hue app on your smart device > Settings > Hue bridges


• Hue bridges > “+” > hit “Search” to automatically start searching for nearby Hue bridgesor enter bridge IP address (on the back of the bridge)


• App asking you to push central button on the bridge in ≈15 s (once, during initialinstallation or in case of adding a new user – physical access ensuring high level of safety)

• Settings > Light setup > “+” > Search to automatically look for nearby lights or Add serialnumber (6 characters alphanumeric code on the body of each product e.g. 30A847)

• You can add several serial numbers at once and then hit Search. Lights will be foundwith default name and icon indicating what light has been found

• Lights can be renamed by clicking on “i” icon for easier identification during interaction

• Room setup > choose Room type (different default scenes assigned)

• Accessory setup > “+” > Select type of accessory you want to add


• Follow instructions in the app*. For adding Dimmer Switch you can use Option 1 (hasn’tbeen paired with lights before) or Option 2 (One that has been paired in offline mode)

TIP: Since Hue Tap works on kinetic energy, press buttons several times before pairing the Tap with your app


• Once dimmer switch found, assign rooms which should be operated by the dimmerswitch. You can rename accessory for easier identification within Hue app


• Change default setting of dimmer switch scenes (Relax – Read – Concentrate – Energize)to any other scenes (separately for each room) for each click of ON button


• In case you are using several dimmer switches, you can identify them by pressing anybutton and checking which switch in the list has changed status


• Once scenes assigned to dimmer switch, you can control individual lights/roomswithout use of a smartphone/tablet


• Each scene change through dimmer switch is also visible in the app simultaneously


• Accessory setup > “+” > Select type of accessory you want to add


• Follow instructions in the app


• Assign which rooms/lights should be controlled by the sensor. Select your Day and Nighttimes and assign scenes to come up once motion detected (can differ per each room)


• Choose after how long lights should turn off or do nothing


• Set Daylight and Motion sensitivity. App will indicate whether certain settings would beenough to trigger lights turning on at certain combination of daylight level and motion


• Sensor will indicate if there is sufficient daylight and lights are not triggered or whethermotion has been detected. You can also choose to deactivate the sensor temporarily

Hue app Scenes control

• In Rooms tab control entire Home at the same time with ON/OFF switch or controlindividual rooms (background indicates color of each room and slider light intensity)


• Click on the left portion of the room button to access individual lights of the room –change light intensity with a slider or turn ON/OFF individual lights


• Click on the left portion of the light button to access Color, Whites and Recipes optionand find your perfect color light match or use shades of white


• Click on the left portion of the light button to access Color, Whites or Recipes option andfind your perfect color light match or use shades of white. WA products dont have Color


• Click Scenes* tab to access preselected scenes or create your own with “+” button.Choose from warm tones of Tropical twilight to Energize mode or Nighlight mode

*Scenes apply changes to all lights in the Room while Lights tab lets you choose lights individually


• Although scenes have preselected colors and light intensity, you can always adjust thelight intensity to % you need in the Scenes tab or in Rooms section via slider


• Once you adjusted scene to your preference, you can create new Scene by hitting the “+”button. Name your scene to find it in Scenes selection and assign to your switch button

• Adjust light to your habbits in Routines tab. Let lights turn off automatically when youleave and welcome you when you come home using GPS location in Home & Away

• Set morning alarm inWake up section. Simply name your alarm, set time, days of week,fade in time*, which rooms to be controlled and which lights in the rooms
