After 65 hours of travel, we finally arrive in São Paolo! This is my first time out of the country and my first experience was going to Cecoia. It was very fun to play with the kids and they taught us traditional Brazilian dances. I had a hard time learning the samba and it took me a long time, but it was very fun. It was exciting to learn how to dance and participate in the culture. I love food and I am excited to try new dishes and authentic Brazilian food. The students at Cecoia are very welcoming and kind. It is hard to talk because we do not speak the same language, but it is cool to see how similar we are and discovered new ways to communicate. I am looking forward to Festa Junina and learning more about Brazilian culture. My First Time in Brazil

As we prepare to go back to the United States, it is hard to leave our new

friends. This has been an amazing experience that we will all remember for

the rest of our lives. My favorite part was when we went to the public school

in the park and got to play dodgeball as a whole group. I love Brazil and hope

to come back and visit!!
