Dear Sir/Madam,

I feel I would be a great value to your office due to my versatility. I am able to help out in many areas of the office due to my past work experience and always willing to learn more. I've worked in the medical field for over 30 years as a Nurse’s Aide, Medical Assistant and Medical Receptionist in all specialties. I was recently re-trained as a Phlebotomist with updated skills and certified.

I worked for St. Charles Hospital and Rehab for 8 years as a Clerk I -Medical Receptionist, in the out-patient Rehab department. I know the responsibilities needed at the office so, I try to work quickly and accurately as conditions permit. I handled a heavy volume of phones while greeting patients, making appointments and researching referrals so that we can stay on top of patient’s visits. I’m always trying to learn new ways to better the office and make things run smoothly. I am asked to help keep my co-workers up to date with anything new that I find to help the front desk, like easier ways to navigate the computer systems or retrieved insurance referrals.

I am a team player and always willing to help my fellow co-workers. I work great under pressure in solving problems in the office. I am dependable and always willing to go above and beyond whatever is needed at the office. I look forward to increasing my work responsibilities and would attend classes to better train me in my role. You have the flexibility to use my skills in multiple functions.

Sincerely,

Lisa A O’Brien
