Beautiful Saturday morning, the sun was shining. Birds fly on the lovely trees and sing in a gay way. Mother knocked on the bedroom door. “Lisa dear, it is time to wake up, now. Get dressed, brush your teeth, wash your face, and come down for breakfast.” Mother looked at her smooth hands, and walked downstairs. Two minutes later Lisa woke up. Her hair was a mess, and drool was all over her pillow. She yawned, and scratched her neck. “Another boring morning.” She unwrapped herself from her blanket and grabbed her slippers. “Left. Right. No. No. No. No. These slippers are right left. I need some help.” She grabbed her slippers and opened her bedroom door, then she ran downstairs. Her mother was pouring orange juice in a glass cup for her. “Did you make your bed?” Lisa sighed and threw her slippers on the couch, then ran back upstairs. Her bedroom was a total mess! Dirty clothes all over the floor, pillow cases, sheets, covers, all in a bundle. Lisa’s eyes widened and her mouth dropped. “Uhh.. sure. Yeah, it’s uh.. sparkly cleaned!” She locked her door on the inside and closed it. Now no one can open her door. As she walked down the stairs, Mother already had her plate on the

table. “Eat up, Lisa. We are doing our nature walking!” Lisa frowned, and played with her scrambled eggs. “I’m not hungry. Let’s just get this thing over with.” Mother swallowed the last gulp of orange juice in her cup, and started putting her tennis shoes on. “Why did you bring the slippers?” Lisa shrugged, and put her shoes on. They walked out the door, and went into the beautiful woods. “Hey mom! Watch what I can do!” Lisa was doing backflips and cartwheels, all over the place. But she wasn’t playing attention. There was a river and a huge rock in front of her as she kept back-flipping. “Lisa! Lisa!!” Lisa back-flipped and landed in the river, falling and hitting her head on the rock. Everything changed.
