Ensure the service is registered, if not, register the service using transaction /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE.

As a prerequisite for read-access to KPI definition, ensure you have assigned the generic role Smart Business Runtime Role(sap.hba.r.sb.core.roles::SAP_SMART_BUSINESS_RUNTIME) to all users or roles.

As a prerequisite for KPI modeling, ensure you have assigned the generic role Smart Business Administration Role(sap.hba.r.sb.core.roles::SAP_SMART_BUSINESS_MODELER) to specific users (e.g. key user, administrator).

Front-End Server: Enable App for Access in SAP Fiori Launchpad

The SAP Fiori launchpad is the entry point to SAP Fiori apps. From a user perspective, it displays those SAP Fiori apps that have been assigned to the catalog designed for this user's role.

This presupposes that an administrator has made the necessary assignments in the launchpad designer to enable a user's access to

the respective SAP Fiori apps in the SAP Fiori launchpad. For more information, see Setup of Catalogs, Groups, and Roles in theSAP Fiori Launchpad. 

SAP delivers technical catalogs for groups of SAP Fiori apps as repositories to create your own catalogs in the launchpaddesigner. Along with these catalogs, more technical content is delivered for each SAP Fiori app. You can find the deliveredtechnical content for each SAP Fiori app in the SAP Fiori apps reference library.

Back-End Server: Assign ODATA Service Authorizations to Users

To enable communication with the ABAP back-end through OData services, a role with authorization object S_SERVICE(Checkat Start of External Services) with the corresponding service name has to be created and assigned to the user in SAP back-end.

1.  In transaction PFCG, create a new role.2.  On the menu tab, insert a node into the role menu by choosing Authorization Default. Enter the following values:

o  Authorization Default: TADIR Service o  Program ID: R3TR  o  Object Type: IWSG

Adding Remote Catalog for System Alias of ODATA Services

To enable users to access tiles in SAP Fiori Launchpad, you must configure a remote catalog that contains a collection of tiles provided by the remote server and assign the remote catalog to users. To do so, proceed as follows:

1.  Log on to the Fiori Designer of your system.2.  To create a catalog, click the add button on the left bottom. You need to specify the following values in the dialogue

 box:

o  Select the Remote radio button.o  Enter a title.o  Enter an ID in the ID field. The ID is the unique key to identify your catalog and is required in PFCG role

configuration.

o  Enter HANA_CATALOG as the remote ID.o  In the System alias field, enter the system alias of your ODATA service.o  In the Base URL field, choose /sap/hba/r/sb/core/odata/runtime/SMART_BUSINESS.xsodata/.

3.  In the gateway system, run transaction PFCG.4.  On the Menu tab, choose the Insert Node button (the small arrow on the right of the Transaction button), and then

select SAP Fiori Tile Catalog.5.  To assign a catalog, in the dialogue box, specify the following values:

o  In the Catalog Provider field, select Remote Catalog.o  In the Catalog ID field, enter the ID of the remote catalog you just created in Fiori Designer.

6.  Assign the PFCG role to the relevant users.

 Note

To check if the PFCG role has been assigned to your users, you can check the user list on the User tab.

7.  Save your changes.

Generate Easy Query

If an easy query is not generated automatically, run transaction SE37 and call function module RSEQ_EQ_GENERATION togenerate an easy query. (To check if an easy query is already generated, run transaction SE37 and call function moduleRSEQ_QUERY_METADATA.)
