Grosse Pointe Lions Club is on the move…..

Judge Benjamin Stanczyk received his 50 year Chevron Award membership pin from

District Governor Joe Griggs. (#Lions1)

Our annual Selfridge Airforce Base Golf Outing was a success. Part of the monies raised we gave a $1000 check to local student Gary Abud, Jr. who raised funds on behalf of MI Eye Bank since he has a degenerative vision condition. In pic are Gary and me, Rob Lyles.

We added 5 new members this year: Chip Gibson, Ben Stanczyk, Jr., Drew Rentzel, Chace Wakefield, and Miguel Piecuch Sponsored by Dick Dossin, Dallas Kitchen and Judge Stanczyk.

We set up the "Lester Scherrer Fund" with Penrickton and gave them a check for $3000 to initiate it. Lester was our treasurer for over 30 years and recently passed away. In photo is our Pres. Bill Hollister, Kurt Sebaly, and Lester's children, and Pass President John Moran.
