How can we do that??
The Help Our Students Travel (HOST) Program, coordinated by the Medicine Alumni Society, matches students with alumni volunteers who provide students
with a free place to stay as well as offer invaluable advice about residency training, the prospective medical center and community in which they are interviewing.

with me and actually slept in city parks and
behind airline ticket counters. We are more
than happy to help any student who needs a
place to stay during their travels.”

Students save an average of $150-$200
-- hotel, car rentals, meals and other
travel related expenses – per night.
That’s equivalent to providing a $500
scholarship/grant to each student
participant.
