Go to sky.co.nz/myaccount and sign in, then scroll down to Sky On Demand and click Order Connectivity Devices. Make sure your Sky box is turned off at the wall. We wouldn’t want any “unfortunate accidents.” The light on the box should be off. Connect your cable into the port on the back of your box.

My Sky Plus and My Sky HDI using Sky Link Box

If you don’t have a Sky link box already, you can order one free from your My Account. Go to sky.co.nz/myaccount and sign in, then scroll down to Sky On Demand and click Order Connectivity Devices.

Make sure your Sky box is turned off at the wall. We wouldn’t want any “unfortunate accidents.” The light on the box should be off.

Connect your cable into the port on the back of your box.

Plug the other end into the yellow cable port on the back of your Sky Link box.

Turn your My Sky Box back on at the wall.

Now connect the Sky Link to your home Wi-Fi network.

Wait 2 Minutes. Practise your evil eyebrow exercises.

Press the Setup button on your remote and scroll down to Internet Connection.

Plug the power cable into the socket in the wall and switch the power on.

Press the Sky Button on your remote.

5. Plug the power cable into the port in the back of the Sky Link Device.

Very good my loyal followers. You can now summon On Demand whenever you demand it to be

demanded On Demand. You get the picture.

Press the Sky button to return to Live TV.

Press Select to connect. After 30 seconds or so you should see confirmation of your connection.

Enter your Wi-Fi Password using the number keys on your remote control. For example mine is Gregsmells19.

Press Select, scroll down and select your home Wi-Fi Network.
